What is Delta 10 THC?

Delta 10 is a hemp extract from the cannabis plant but it is often sourced from CBD. It can be vaped or consumed in edibles such as gummies. It is less potent than Delta 9 THC.

Is Delta 10 Safe & Legal?

Delta 10 is actually legal at the federal level because it is typically sourced from hemp which was made legal several years ago. This means that selling, buying, and consuming Delta 10 are not federal crimes. However, that’s not to say that there is no legal jeopardy to be had from the chemical. While most states make no mention of it at all in their laws pertaining to controlled substances, several states have outlawed it.

In terms of safety, the question is somewhat uncertain. While pure Delta 10 is not known to produce any significantly bad outcomes, it is very difficult to extract. During the cultivation process, chemicals are used to remove the Delta 10. These chemicals may be harmful if they linger in the final solution.

It is always important to be very clear on the source and content of anything labeled “Delta 10” before you consume it.

Does Delta 10 Make You High?

Delta 10 has been known to produce a euphoric or disorienting effect that is quite similar to that of Delta 8, or Delta 9. However, all three chemicals produce a unique experience. For example, Delta 8 is most commonly associated with relaxation and is used by some as a sleep aid.

Delta 9 is the chemical most commonly associated with marijuana’s euphoric effects. It tends to be significantly more potent than Delta 8 and Delta 10.

In fact, Delta 10 is largely considered to be the mildest option among the three. Though it can produce a euphoric effect, it typically is not overpowering.

Does Delta 10 Contain THC?

Delta 10 actually is a form of THC, though not the kind that most people think of. Delta 9 is the THC compound that is found in the marijuana plant. Though similar, Delta 9 squeaks by legally thanks to its affiliation with hemp and CBD.

Delta 10 Side Effects

Though not associated with any significant side effects, some users report feeling disoriented, nauseous, or anxious after taking Delta 10. It has also been associated with headaches.

Delta 10 Benefits

Some people associate Delta 10 with increased energy, focus, and creativity. However, it should be noticed that these reports are purely anecdotal. Currently, there is no scientific evidence to support these claims.
